The 3AW Ignition Warning Light relay is often a problem on our British cars and motorcycles. Not only is it delicate and failure prone,
it can short, causing problems with other components. CoolCat has solved that problem!
This solid state switch is a plug in replacement for the 3AW. No more shorts! The switch is housed
in a rugged weatherproof box. The box is 1"x1"x3/8", and can be inconspicuously tucked away
under your heater. Actual color may be black (as pictured) or grey. Press

Only a handful of cars used a positive ground alternator. Early Aston Martin cars are the primary example. Several British motorcycles, including Norton used a positve ground alternator with a 3AW. This switch will work for all positive ground cars and motorcycles that use a 3AW, including Triumph, Sunbeam, Aston Martin, Daimler, Norton, and even Rolls Royce/Bentley.
